Job Summary
JRA Health is a new and emerging home infusion provider, looking for talented individuals to assist in the organization’s focus on filling the gap in acute care home infusion services. JRA Health is licensed & accredited to provide infusion pharmacy & nursing services to patients in the Florida market with plans to expand into surrounding states and nationally.
Job Description Summary:
Responsible for facilitating the new patient admission process to JRA Health for acute care home infusion therapies. Works in partnership with sales & operations personnel to ensure that patients are onboarded in an efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Obtains all required documentation for new patient referrals and develops patient chart within Electronic Health Record
- Verifies insurance and eligibility along with obtaining authorizations when necessary
- Complete start-of-care paperwork
- Contact patients to confirm information and notify them of their financial obligation
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10 and CPT codes
- 2+ years of previous intake experience including eligibility and authorizations
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 environment (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Good time management skills
- Passion and empathetic approach to helping patients & referral sources
- Effective problem solving & communication skills
- Effective Team Player
Travel Requirements:
- N/A – Position will start as remote, but will transition to onsite in Jacksonville, FL local office.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate orally with customers, management, and other co-workers, both individually and in front of a group is crucial. Regular use of the phone and e-mail for communication is essential.
- Sitting, driving, walking, standing for extending periods. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
- No heavy lifting expected; occasional exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment.

Overview
JRA Health is an emerging home infusion company committed to excellence, innovation, and delivering the highest standards of service to our patients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join and grow with our dynamic team in a full time capacity. Must be licensed and registered as a Pharmacist in the State of Florida before hire.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Interpret physician orders to prepare medication dosage forms for treatment according to Federal and State Drug Laws.
- Identify and report suspected adverse drug reactions accurately and on time.
- Review patient medication records and profiles for allergies, drug interactions and therapeutic duplications.
- Organize daily operational duties and supervise pharmacy technicians, aides and other personnel.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, professional standards and quality management policies.
- Communicate with physicians and nurses to clarify unclear orders.
- Provide drug information and educational programs to healthcare professionals.
- Fill prescription orders according to State and Federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Sterile IV Preparation Responsibilities:
- Oversees the preparation of sterile compounded medications, including intravenous (IV) admixtures, in accordance with USP <797> guidelines
- Performs order verification processes ensuring accuracy, quality, safety, stability and sterility of Sterile IV Admixtures in accordance to USP <797> guidelines and JRA Health standard operating procedures.
- Performs pharmaceutical calculations as needed.
- Document all compounding activities and maintain precise records in compliance with state and federal regulations
Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
- PharmD/RPh
- PGY1 Residency (preferred)
- Inpatient/outpatient clinical pharmacist experience (preferred)
- USP 797/800 Sterile IV Preparations/compounding experience (preferred)
- Home Infusion experience (preferred)
- Must be licensed or registered in the State of Florida
Physical Demand Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching.
- Ability to carry at least 30lbs
